Cookie Policy

Last updated: 21 May 2026

Hello and welcome to Manta's cookie policy. Here we explain what cookies are, how we use them to run Manta, and how you can manage your cookie settings.

What is a cookie?

Cookies are simple text files stored on your computer or smartphone by our website or by a provider that helps us deliver our services. Cookies can contain a wide range of useful information: purely technical information, such as whether you have enabled JavaScript; information about your browsing preferences (when you tick the "keep me logged in" box, a cookie helps make that feature work); or information about your browsing activity (for example, we use a cookie that lets us produce accurate statistics on the use of our services).

Refusing or accepting cookies

We use cookies to improve your browsing experience and to provide you with targeted information about Manta. These cookies do not require your consent.

Pursuant to CNIL deliberations no. 2020-091 and no. 2020-092 of 17 September 2020, Manta is required to obtain the prior consent of website users for all cookies that are not strictly necessary. The placement of third-party cookies is therefore subject to your consent, expressed through the cookie preferences. This feature is disabled by default.

The first time you visit our website, a cookie preferences banner will appear, allowing you to refuse or consent to the placement of cookies.

You can change your preferences at any time. If you wish to refuse these cookies, or to fine-tune your consents and refusals, click the button below.

Cookies placed or used by Manta

Cookies not subject to consent

We use cookies that are necessary to provide our services, to improve them, or that are useful to our secure providers in delivering their services (Auth0; Google Analytics; Intercom; Stripe). These cookies do not require your acceptance.

Cookies subject to consent

As part of the Google Analytics feature, the following data is reused by our services to carry out marketing operations and reporting on our activity (reports on impressions on the Google Display Network, and Google Analytics demographics and interests reports):

  • the end user's location,
  • search history,
  • data from Google's partner sites.

Beyond these performance cookies, Google may install third-party cookies on our behalf in order to collect additional data for various purposes, which we specify in the table below (Google Click ID; Google Conversion Linker; Google Remarketing).

As part of the Google Ads feature, the following data is reused by our services to accurately track our marketing campaigns, understand our visitors' journey, and carry out targeted advertising:

  • the end user's unique identifier ("Google Click ID"),
  • the user's journey, which may run from clicking on an advertisement through to the account creation form on manta.fund.

We also use cookies to identify people coming from social networks (LinkedIn).

The use of these features is, however, subject to your consent. Refusing the placement and reading of these cookies will have no impact on the provision of our services.

You may also refuse to make your activity available to Google. You can find more information about these cookies in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://www.google.fr/analytics/terms/fr.html.

Manta's customer data is not resold or processed for advertising purposes on behalf of third parties. It is only transferred to the subcontractors involved in providing Manta's services. The list of providers involved in delivering the services is available in the personal data policy, accessible here: https://manta.fund/privacy.

Measures taken to ensure Google Analytics compliance

We need to measure our website's audience, in particular to detect navigation issues and organise our content. We have chosen the Google Analytics solution, which uses cookies. In accordance with CNIL deliberations no. 2020-091 and no. 2020-092 of 17 September 2020, we have taken the following measures in order to benefit from the exemption from collecting consent:

  • You can object at any time, on any device, to this performance cookie;
  • We have configured Google Analytics so that the data collected is not cross-referenced with other processing operations, and so that the cookie placed does not allow the user's browsing to be tracked across other websites:
    • We have ensured that the cookie placed is used solely to produce anonymous statistics, in particular by removing the last two digits of the IP addresses transmitted and by setting the "AllowAdFeatures" criterion (advertising authorisation) to be disabled by default;
    • We have limited the cookie's lifetime and data retention to 26 months;
  • In addition, you can object to the collection of data generated by Google Analytics about your use of our website by downloading a browser extension at the following address: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Installing it is considered an objection to data collection by Google.

General settings

You can set general cookie choices by changing the settings of your web browser. Depending on the type of browser, you will have the following options: accept or reject cookies from any source or from a specific source, or set the browser to display a message asking for your consent each time a cookie is placed on your device.
